Marriott has been very busy – there are 15 new Owner Events!!! Yippee!!! – get ready to have some fun! Some of the events are repeats from last year – Honda Classic Tournament, Radio City Rockettes, and Glamour at the Breakers to name a few. But there are some new ones, and some are REALLY GREAT VALUE!!! I always preach that you get the best value by using Club Points when staying at MVC properties. But there are some Owner Events that get a better value – so this is something you should seriously consider! And that doesn’t even consider the EXPERIENCE you will have!!!
The BEST value Owner Event added is the Holiday Culinary & Show Experience in Myrtle Beach. It is during various days the first two weeks of December and would be a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season. You would attend a Christmas-themed show of your choice – The Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, Pirate Voyage Dinner & Show, or Nights of a Thousand Candles. You also will enjoy Christmas activities at the resort, including a tree lighting ceremony, hot chocolate station, fire pits and s’mores, gingerbread decorating, pictures with Santa, and more.
If that wasn’t enough, you will also have 2 meals provided – breakfast at Sea Captain’s House and dinner at Ruth’s Chris. AND three nights at the beautiful OceanWatch @ Grand Dunes. BEST part of this event – it only takes 900 Club Points. That’s it! Retail value is $1900 making it $2.11 per Club Point – that’s a GREAT DEAL!!!
Another new event that has excellent value is Marc Anthony All Inclusive Experience. You will be staying at the Pulse South Beach in Miami for 3 nights. Dinner is at Toro Toro where you will experience a delicious three-course plated dinner. The concert is at the FTX Arena where you will be served food and drinks and have premium seating. Quite the experience for 2700 Club Points, with a retail value of $4636 or $1.72 per point!!
You can check out the other 13 Owner Events that are new this month on the list I created below. I highlighted the new events in yellow, so you can easily find them. I also list all the events available in order of VALUE. They range anywhere from $2.42 per Club Point to only 46 cents per Club Point. The top 10 Owner Events listed actually have as good or better value than staying in a MVC resort – so if it is something you are interested in, no need to worry about MAXING your Ownership!!!
Remember the cancellation policy of Owner Events is stricter than resort reservations – be aware of the rules. And a 90-minute Sales Presentation is required of all Owners at these Events.
